Wills and Trusts for Businesses Owners
Attorney Jacob K. Ehrensaft will be giving a presentation on wills and trusts for business owners. Learn how effective planning and maintaining proper business formalities (such as corporate minutes, assumed names, and employment contracts) can be used to ensure a company functions efficiently if a business owner or employee becomes ill, disabled or passes away.
Poor planning and the failure to comply with business formalities are some of the largest concerns for businesses. The absence of a company owner or employee, as well as improper business practices, can cause a rift in management and subject owners to personal liability, government fines, and tax penalties. Preparation for the future is essential to the success of any business; it gives individuals, families, owners and employees the security they deserve.
