Part-Time Tutor (Teaching Certificate/PEL required)

Sylvan of Skokie is looking for part-time educational staff to instruct students after school or weekends.  
Must have a degree in education with teaching credentials.
We instruct students in math, reading, writing, study skills and ACT/SAT Prep.  
Paid training available according to your areas and grade levels you prefer to teach.
Responsibilities include: Just teaching, no preparation, no lesson plans! We prepare that for you!

As a successful teacher you will:
-Teach using Sylvan based programs
-Supervise, interact with and motivate students during instruction hour while they work with equipment and materials
-Reward students for completed assignments
-Evaluate and document student progress
-Communicate student needs to the center director
-Inspire Students
-Develop rapport with students and establish a fun learning environment
-Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate enthusiasm for teaching and Sylvan
