October 1, 2015 saw the credit card processing world shift fraud liability to all merchants who don’t accept EMV (chip cards) at their locations. Many have made the switch but others have not. What does this fraud shift even mean?
On December 8th, Joe Campagna, Grant Merchant Services, will facilitate a forum to answer all of your questions regarding:
- EMV – what does this mean for my business if I swipe or don’t swipe credit cards?
- PCI – I’ve heard of this but I’ve never done the compliance – am I at risk? Do I need to be compliant?
- Data Security – Are your machines/systems transmitting secure data through the internet or DSL line?
