Orchard Village is looking to hire a full time Training Coordinator.
Plan, coordinate, develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive competency-based training program for agency employees. Provide and manage DHS-approved training for Direct Support Professionals and QIDPs.
Determine training requirements for employees in all departments. Conduct in-house classes and seminars. Coordinate and facilitate new employee orientation for all new agency staff. Coordinate the use of outside trainers, professional classes, seminars, and online training opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in education or social services.
- Two years’ experience working in the field of developmental disabilities (including at least one year working directly with persons with developmental disabilities).
- State of Illinois QIDP certification required.
- Personal vehicle and valid driver's license required.
