Grants & Annual Fund Associate

Orchard Village is looking for a full time Grants & Annual Fund Associate.

The Grants & Annual Fund Associate plays a key role in supporting the Development Department's communication outreach and successful cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of foundations, donors, and volunteers.

Responsibilities:

· Generate ongoing private support of the organization by developing and implementing a strategy for donations from foundation, corporate, and other grant funding bodies.

· Prepare and maintain an annual schedule of grant application deadlines and progress toward goals.

· Prepare, write, and submit foundation and other grant requests.

· Write and coordinate direct-mail and online appeals to donors.

· Create and maintain the donor stewardship process.

· Maintain and update the agency's donor/CRM database.

· Provide event fundraising support as needed.

· Prepare and execute annual fund appeals at least twice yearly.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's Degree in English, journalism, communications, marketing, public relations, non-profit management, or related field.

· Experience writing grants and researching potential donors.

· Experience creating direct mail appeals to donors.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Experience with Microsoft Office suite programs, Constant Contact, social media, donor databases, auctions software, and direct mail preferred.
