Events and Communication Associate - Up to $1,000 Sign-On Bonus


Orchard Village is looking for a Full Time Events & Communications Associate. This position plans, manages, and helps implement effective fundraising events for the organization. The position is also responsible for the social media, marketing, and communications for the agency.


  • Assist in all aspects of special event management to include event planning, production, event execution, reporting and stewardship.
  • Serve as lead liaison to the Auxiliary, Associate Board, and other volunteer groups.
  • Develop volunteer relationships and logistics for organization fundraising events.
  • Support Development Department operations, including utilizing the donor database, electronic invitation production, creating and posting online auctions, communications with volunteers, gift acknowledgements, donation and sponsorship inquires, social media, marketing, and communications.


  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1-3 years’ experience with special-event fundraising and communications preferred
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required
  • Must be willing to work some evenings and weekends
