DESCRIPTION:The Holly Jolly Market and Christmas Tree Lighting is a free\, family-friendly event for kids of all ages.  The festivities are on Saturday\, November 24\, 2018 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Oasis Fun Center\, 7877 N. Milwaukee Avenue.  The annual Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held outdoors at 5:30 p.m. followed by a fireworks show.  \n\n  \n\nJoin in the fun! (events and entertainment subject to change)\n\n	Meet Santa Claus\n	Meet Mrs. Claus (sponsored by the Niles Arts and Culture Council)\n	Enjoy the sounds of the season with DJ Jules\, the Gemini Idols Show Choir\, and the Willows Academy Chamber Choir\n	Bundle up for a ride in a horse-drawn sleigh (sleigh rides are free with a donation to the Chamber of Commerce Dollars-for-Scholars Program or a non-perishable food item)\n	See the animals at the petting zoo\n	Ride the trackless train\n	Create a craft with the Niles-Maine District Library\n	Climb aboard the Village of Niles Holly Trolley\n	Experience the lighting of the beautiful Niles Christmas Tree\n	Bring a new\, unwrapped toy for the Toys for Tots Program\n	Purchase food\, including salty snacks like popcorn and hot roasted nuts \n	Purchase beverages (Cash Only) - beer\, soda\, water and hot mulled wine\n	Visit the Christmas Market - local vendors selling all sorts of goodies
