DESCRIPTION:Dear Community Leaders\,\n\n\n\nAt the Niles-Maine District Library\, we believe that libraries thrive when they are deeply connected to the aspirations of the people they serve. As we dive deeper into our strategic planning process\, we are reaching out to trusted community partners like you for your insight and perspective.\n\nWith the help of the Niles Chamber of Commerce\, we're hosting a virtual focus group on Thursday\, June 26 from 2:30-3:30 specifically for nonprofits\, service organizations and trusted community stakeholders\, and we'd be honored if you would join us. Your experiences and hopes for our community are essential to shaping a vision for the future\, not just for the library\, but for the broader role it can play in supporting the goals we all share.\n\nWhile this focus group will inform the library's strategic plan\, we believe it will be valuable to you as a community leader as well. It's a unique opportunity to hear from other local stakeholders\, share ideas\, and better understand the aspirations and challenges we collectively face.\n\nThe session will be facilitated by library consultant Cindy Fesemyer and will focus on these questions:\n\n                   What are your aspirations for your community?\n\n                   What challenges stand in the way of those aspirations?\n\n                   What needs to change to move closer to them?\n\nTo participate\, you'll need a device with a microphone and ideally a camera most laptops\, tablets\, and phones will work. If you need help accessing the technology\, please contact us and we'll be glad to assist.
