Business Development – Outside Sales Representative
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
 
ABETTER POUR self-performs as a regional product distributor and service provider in the Midwest and coordinates with partner distributors in all fifty states and Canada. Our Enomatic wine preservation and pouring systems are the modern method for multiple industries to improve profitability while reducing loss in their wine and spirits programs. Our clients span across multiple industries ranging from bars and restaurants to national chain organizations. Due to the growth of our company, we are seeking a business development representative to add to our team in the Chicago. We are seeking a motivated person who likes having un-capped commissions with a 5 state territory and wants to be part of a winning team.
 
As a business development representative, you will be tasked with helping to drive additional company growth through new customer acquisition. This role will require a person to prospect, present, and close multiple deals a month.
 
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
 

  • Proven history of high performance and meeting company quota expectations

  • Following up on prospect / customer requests for information, quotes, and documentation

  • Excellent time management skills to maximize phone time vs field time

  • Ability to pre-plan with leadership for large customer meetings and presentations

  • Continued interest in the industry and trends needed to help deliver additional value to our customer base

  • Understanding and strong use of effective selling techniques

  • Ability to manage a pipeline of prospects throughout the year

 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
 

  • 2 – 5 years in an new business development position

  • Proven experience with quota achievement

  • Ability to travel to prospect / customer location of presentation requires it

  • Excellent verbal and communication skills

  • MS Office Skills (Outlook / Word / Excel / Powerpoint)

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

  
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hospitality, Restaurant, or Wine sales experience

  • Salesforce, Hubspot, or other CRM experience
