Job Description
The Sales Counselor is responsible for leasing apartments and achieving move-in goals.  Maintains a positive image of the community with referral sources, residents and staff.  Assists in the development and executive of community events.  Attends networking events, schedules, organizes and conducts tours. 

Reports to the Sales Director.

Associates Degree in related field preferred.
  • Must posses a passion to work with and around senior citizens
  • Proven sales track record; effective selling and closing skills
  • Prior experience in the senior care or country club/hospitality environment preferred
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Outlook software.  Basic typing skills required
  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management, associates, residents, family members, and outside contacts
  • Knowledge of current Federal and State Laws pertaining to Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing
  • Must be warm, friendly and caring - especially when meeting visitors, residents, family and staff.  
  • Must be familiar with and adhere to the guidelines related to the Fair HousingAct (FHA) and the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations in all aspects of the job including sales presentations and marketing materials
