SUMMARY:Wine Tasting With Wineseller's
DESCRIPTION:Join us as wine educators from Wineseller's take us through a virtual wine tasting and macroeconomics.\nBusiness & Wine??  Sure they go together!!\n\nWine got caught up as collateral damage in an ongoing dispute over subsidies between the US and Europe over airlines.\n\nLee Schlesinger\, from Wineseller's\, will talk a bit about this and how it has affected our wine supply! We will taste some of the wines that experienced such tariffs and explore their background and profile. Are these tariffs gone for good or are they coming back?  Lee will walk us through tasting wine from three of the effected countries.  We will list here specific bottles that Wineseller's Imports and where they can be purchased\, but Lee was clear - anything within these categories will be appropriate!\n\n\n\nGerman Riesling Kabinett \n\nGeorg Albrecht Schneider Niersteiner Paterberg Riesling Kabinett\n\nBinny's has a good selection from Wineseller's.\n\n\n\nSpanish (Rias Baixas) Albarino\n\nSenda Verde Albarino \n\nCan be found at retail at two Chicago locations - Garfield's (1704 N. Milwaukee Ave) & Dill Pickle Coop (2746 N Milwaukee Ave).\n\n\n\nFrench Pinot Noir\n\n  Le Charmel Pinot Noir\n\nIt is also available locally at Schaefer's and Wilmette Food Mart.\n\nBut any French Pinot Noir (red Burgundy) should do. \n\n\n\nAll of these wine can be ordered from wine.com\n\n\n\nOnce you register you will receive the zoom information.
