SUMMARY:2019 Scholarship Raffle Tickets
DESCRIPTION:What would you do with $5000...\n\nhow about $1000...\n \n\nWe invite you to purchase a Dollars for Scholars raffle ticket.  Just $100 for a chance to win $5000\, but more importantly\, you will be supporting the students of Niles.  Dollars for Scholars raises fund to support (2) $4000 scholarships\, awarded to high school seniors living in Niles\, or children of a current Niles Chamber members.  These scholarships are awarded $1000 a year for each of 4 years.  These help students to more fully appreciate their college experience.  Students have told us these scholarships allow them to pursue extra cirricular activities that are vital to their college experiences.\n\n \n\n1st Place - $5000\n\n2nd Place - $1000\n\n3rd Place $1000\n\n\n\nRaffle prizes are drawn April 26\, 2019 at Night of Roses - Winner need not be present.\n\n \n\nDollars for Scholars is a 501 (c) 3 so your contribution is fully tax deductible!\n\n\n\n \n\nMost student organizations have a fee\, which is necessary but can dissuade people from joining.  However\, thanks to Dollars for Scholars\, I can more comfortably join new organizations that interest me. . These have provided me with valuable learning and life experiences that have truly shaped my time in college\, and they've been funded through Dollars for Scholars\, which I am so grateful for receiving. \n\nLauren Komrska 2017 Recipient\n\n \n\nI  am a sophomore majoring in chemical engineering at UIC and I am passionate about combining research and engineering to build bridges of innovation that will help people around the globe. Thank you for choosing me to be the recipient of the Dollars for Scholars scholarship. I am honored and I appreciate the help you have given me.
